Tian Qi.
Purely out of curiosity I looked for the English translation of Tian Qi which is the name of the cargo ship featured in this image. What I found out is that Tian Qi is the name of a herb used in traditional Chinese medicine which is used to treat swelling and pain in the human body and to stop bleeding from wounds. The Tian Qi in the image is described as a specialist cargo ship, presumably due to her ability to transport Wind Turbine Towers and Blades over long distances as well as more conventional cargos. The 26770 Gross Ton Tian Qi was built in China in 2016, is Registered in China and is owned and managed by Cosco Shipping Specialised. The image was captured from the deck of the SS Shieldhall in July 2021 when Tian Qi was berthed at Southampton's Eastern Docks.
