HMS St Albans F83.
In this image , the Type 23 Frigate HMS St Albans is seen passing the entrance to the River Medina at Cowes Isle of Wight heading East along the Solent in the direction of Portsmouth (her Home Port). According to Internet sources HMS St Albans was the 16th and last of the Duke Class Type 23 Frigates built for the Royal Navy. Commissioned in 2002 she is still in service. The image was captured in March 2007 from the deck of a Red Funnel car ferry.
