The St Lucia Coast Guard vessel Alphonse Reynolds P-01 was built in the United States of America (USA) and saw service from 1967 to 1998 as a US Coast Guard, Point Class Cutter with the names Point Turner and Point Houghton. I do not know when the name change occurred. Internet sources state that she was transferred to the Government of the Caribbean Island of St Lucia in 1998. This image of her was captured in November 2010 when she was berthed in the Port of Castries on the Island of St Lucia. There is a wealth of information on the Internet about the Point Class Cutters, their history and where they ended up after their service with the US Coast Guard ended.
