Shooting directly into the Sun with a point and shoot (APS) camera is never a good idea but on occasions needs must. As a result this image of a collection of fishing boats at Reina Del Mar, Los Angeles is overexposed. It was taken in the early 1990's with an APS, film camera that provided no control over exposure or shutter speed.
