The canoeist in this image who was floating peacefully near to the waters edge next to Calshot Castle was thrown off balance by the wake from a passing ship. Fortunately he was able to recover the situation by putting one leg onto the shingle as the canoe was pulled onto its side. The image was captured from the Moat Wall of Calshot Castle in April 2021.
