In this image, captured in July 2018 the 210678 Gross Ton container ship MOL Trust is seen in-bound for the Port of Southampton being escorted across the Solent by the Southampton Harbour Master Vessel Pathfinder. MOL Trust is seen approaching the very sharp turn to Port (Left) in the navigational channel at Calshot in order to motor up Southampton Water. At the time the image was captured, I was standing on the deck of a Red Funnel car ferry crossing the Solent outbound from Southampton to East Cowes Isle of Wight.
