A scene repeated many times over the years when a number of cruise ship depart the Port of Southampton on the same day. This image of the Cunard Cruise Ship Queen Victoria was captured on the 22nd of April 2010 as she was departing her berth in Southampton's Western Docks to turn 180 degrees before sailing down Southampton Water at the commencement of her cruise. When she departed there there was a flotilla of small ships to wish her "Bon Voyage", including Blue Funnel's Ashleigh R (in the foreground of the image).
