This image was captured from the foc'sle deck, looking forward over the bow of the SS Shieldhall as she steamed towards the Solent Southampton, close to the Greenland navigation buoy. Shieldhall was underway to observe part of the Round the Island race held on 1st July 2023. The containership in the upper part of the image is the Hong Kong Registered Cosco Fortune.
