The Tall Ships Youth Trust sail training vessel Prince William is seen here in January 2007 sailing down Southampton Water, just off the Esso Berths of the Fawley Refinery heading towards the Solent Southampton. Prince William was built in Germany and originally intended to serve as a cruise ship in the West Indies. However she was bought by the Tall Ships Youth Trust and converted in Devon to the form you see in this image (two masted brig). Commissioned in 2001 she remained in service until 2007. She was eventually sold to the Pakistan Navy in 2010 and renamed PNS Rah Naward.
