Earlier in the morning of the 29 March 2019 the mist/fog over the Solent Southampton had been so heavy that car ferry sailings from Southampton and the Isle of Wight had been cancelled. Mid morning the mist/fog had started to lift and this image was captured from the first Red Funnel car ferry that had been permitted to sail. This image was captured from Southampton Water near to the Esso Berths at the Fawley Refinery looking out across the the Solent to the (invisible) Isle of Wight.
