The 24230 Gross Ton Chemical/oil Products Tanker STI Battersea is seen in this image, captured in January 2020 as she was tied up against the Esso Number 1 berth at the Fawley Refinery. She was built in 2014, six years before I saw and photographed her for the first and only time and is Registered in the Marshall Islands. This image of her bow section appealed to me because it made an interesting contrasting shape against the refinery's tubular storage tanks and tall pencil shaped chimneys.
