This image of the LPG tanker Explorer was captured in August 2008 as she lay at anchor in what I presume is a deep water anchorage just East of Gibraltar in the Mediterranean Sea. At the time this image was captured there were other vessels especially tankers anchored in the same area. I have tried unsuccessfully to find any information on the Internet about Explorer. It is very likely she has changed name and ownership. It is also possible she has been scrapped.
