Had I found any information on the Internet about the Cargo Ship Jupiter shown in this image, I might have been tempted to place her as a featured vessel in to the Cargo Ship Sub Gallery. However the Jupiters I found were not this vessel. Unfortunately, when I saw her in September 2006 when I was motoring on a tourist/sightseeing vessel I did not record any of her details. I was taken by her appearance, particularly the sweep of her Bow. The image shows Jupiter motoring on the Bosporus, under a section of the Golden Gate Bridge, heading in the direction of the Black Sea. To the left of the image, can be seen part of the Rumeli Fortress which is built on the European side of Istanbul.
