One view of Southampton's Western Docks. The image shows the Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) Norwegian Jade tied up at berth 101, (the City Cruise terminal). This terminal is located next to Mayflower Park which is usually a public space but which is used throughout the year for exhibitions like the Southampton boat show. I have no idea as to the nature of the event at the time this image was captured. Shown at the very bottom of the image is a section of the derelict Royal Pier. The image was captured in June 2018 from the top deck of a Red Funnel car ferry awaiting to depart to East Cowes Isle of Wight.
