Coastal Observer.
I saw the Port Tender Coastal Observer in June 2021 as she was motoring up Southampton Water Southampton heading in the direction of the River Hamble. I believe she was acting as the control vessel for the yellow Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV) also featured in this Gallery. I was unable to photograph both vessels together as I was using a zoom lens and both vessels were widely separated in terms of distance. I have no idea as to the type of work they were undertaking. The images were captured from the Moat Wall of Calshot Castle.
