PS Waverley Engine Control Station.
A view of the Paddle Steamer (PS) Waverley's Engine Control station captured when she was underway in September 2006 visiting the South Coast of the UK. The Image was captured using a Canon EOS 350 D consumer grade camera together with a Canon EF 17-85 mm zoom lens. The camera settings were shutter speed 1/300 of a second, aperture f5.6, ISO 200 with the camera handheld. My camera setting preferences in 2023 would be different because I now prefer to raise the ISO, increase the shutter speed and reduce the aperture size to achieve a sharper image, better depth of field and to reduce the effects of camera shake.
