This image of the Fawley Tug Lomax heading into the Solent was captured from the deck of the Red Funnel car and passenger ferry Red Eagle in October 2017. At the time Red Eagle was heading across to East Cowes Isle of Wight and someway behind Lomax as they both headed out of Southampton Water. I believe that Lomax was moving in order to assist an incoming tanker bound for the Fawley Refinery. The ferry at the upper left of the image is the Red Falcon that was in bound for Southampton having departed the Isle of Wight a little while earlier.
