FastCat Ryde.
The Catamaran ferry FastCat Ryde had an interesting career from the date she came into service in 1996, having been built in Singapore, to when she was sold to a Russian ferry company (Rosmorport Moscow Russian Federation) in May 2011. Her name in 2024 being Sochi 1. The FastCat Ryde had a Gross Tonnage of 482 Tons and was capable of transporting 361 passengers and 4-5 crew between Portsmouth Hampshire to Ryde Isle of Wight. This image shows her in Portsmouth Harbour just off the Spinnaker Tower at the start of a crossing of the Solent to Ryde.
