Robin.
A nature park near to my home is immensely popular with residents and visitors alike who enjoy the outdoor space and the wide variety of wildlife that has chosen to make its home within its boundaries. Because many visitors choose to feed the waterfowl and other birds on a regular basis, many types of bird, particularly Robins have become adept at exploiting this additional food source. This image which was captured in February 2022 show a Robin taking advantage of a mealworm snack offered by my wife. Funnily enough I had taken my Canon EOS 5D Mk4 camera and Canon EF 100 mm Macro lens out on our walk with the intention of photographing some frogs that I had seen the day before in a drainage ditch. However whilst the frogs had disappeared from the ditch, this image was more than sufficient consolation for the loss of any frog photographs!
