Oberon.
The vessel named Oberon featured in this image was photographed berthed at the Harbour Wall of the Caribbean Island of Barbados in November 2010. The image disappeared into my Adobe Lightroom archive for 13 years when I came across it by accident and chose it for upload to this web site. To me her history is very interesting. The 493 Gross Ton vessel was built in 2009 as a Fast Yacht Support vessel and was designated by her builders as a 50 Meter Sea Axe 5009. The Axe part of her model name relates to the specialist shape of her bow. When I saw her she was Registered in Bermuda but since then her name and Country of Registration has changed to Pursuit and the Cayman Islands respectively. An Internet search on her IMO number of 9554640 reveals that she has been converted into a House Boat, presumably with every luxury imaginable.
