Hoegh Trotter.
The local weather on the morning of the 4th November 2022 at Calshot Southampton was dry with light winds but extremely overcast. However in the late morning there were sporadic bursts of sunshine that brightened the scene over Southampton Water. One such burst of sunshine coincided with the departure from the Port of the 76420 Gross Ton, Norwegian Registered vehicles carrier Hoegh Trotter seen here in Southampton Water motoring towards the Solent. The Hoegh Trotter was built in China in 2016 and is managed by Hoegh Fleet Services of Norway. Before becoming Hoegh Trotter she had at various times been named HB 25 HO and HAC. My camera position at the time the image was captured was the Moat Wall of Calshot Castle.
