Asterix.
The ship featured in this image began life in 2010 as a Commercial Container Ship and had a number of names until she was converted to become a supply ship for the Royal Canadian Navy and named Asterix. She was built in Germany with a Gross Tonnage of 18999 Tons. This image of her was captured in October 2020 as she was sailing up Southampton Water in-bound for the Port of Southampton. The image was captured from the Moat Wall of Calshot Castle. For any Military ship enthusiast a great deal of information about her can be found on the Internet by searching on her IMO number which is 9348182.
