Duke of Normandy.
I have only seen the United Kingdom (Jersey) Registered, 212 Gross Ton Tug Duke of Normandy on the one occasion which was in February 2022. When I saw her she was towing a spoil barge down Southampton Water Southampton heading in the direction of the Solent having just passed the Hook navigation buoy. My Internet searches reveal that she was built in 2005 and is variously described as a shallow draft anchor handling tug or a utility vessel. The image was captured from the moat wall of Calshot Castle using a Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera and RF 100-500 mm lens. Unfortunately her tow line was so long that it was impossible to show tug and barge in the same frame.
