Aidavita.
The one and only occasion when I saw and photographed the Italian Registered cruise ship Aidavita was on the 14th of October 2016 when she was berthed at the City Cruise Terminal in Southampton's Western Docks. Aidavita was built in Germany in 2002, has a Gross Tonnage of 42289 Tons and is capable of accommodating 1266 passengers and 426 crew. She was taken out of service at the start of the Corona Virus pandemic and never returned into service. In 2023, she is now named Avitak and is laid up in Tallinn Estonia. The image was captured from the deck of the Red Funnel car and passenger ferry Red Osprey that at the time the image was captured was berthed at the Town Quay ferry terminal.
