Tornado RIB.
I do not know whether the Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) featured in this image had a name or not. I believe the name I have used for the image is that of her builder, particularly as her length (6 Metres) is visible on her Port side.
I captured the image in the late afternoon of the 21st of August 2021 when I was returning to Southampton after a day's cruise on the preserved steam ship SS Shieldhall that had travelled to Hurst Castle in the Western Solent. It is common for all types of pleasure craft to come close to the Shieldhall when the latter is underway, as a preserved steamship is a rare sight in any Port. The travellers on the RIB were clearly delighted to wave to Shieldhall,s passengers.
