K-Marine IV.
I am unable to explain why the 217 Gross Ton, Offshore Supply Vessel K-Marine IV, that was built and Registered in the United States of America should be berthed at a British shipyard in October 2021, but I have this image to prove that she was. At the time I captured this image I was onboard the Red Funnel car and passenger ferry Red Falcon motoring in Southampton Water, travelling from Southampton to East Cowes Isle of Wight. K-Marine IV was built in 1990 and originally named Miss Beth before becoming Miss Bet and then K-Marine IV. As I have remarked with some of my other images displayed on this Web site, one of the delights of my type of unplanned photography is that I never really know what I will see and photograph on my expeditions.
