PS Waverley Engine Room
A view of the engine room of the Paddle Steamer (PS) Waverley as she was underway during one of the excursions of her 2008 season visit to the South Coast of the United Kingdom. The heat from the boilers and the smell of hot engine oil is guaranteed to provide a trip down memory lane for any marine steam engine enthusiast. This image was captured without the aid of a of flash Unit. Instead, the Panasonic Bridge Camera I was using was set to the high ISO setting of 6400.
