Independence of the Seas.
When Independence of the Seas arrived at the Port of Southampton for the first time, I was greatly impressed because in 2008 she was the largest cruise ship in the World. In the year 2022 that title has passed to other more modern vessels but whenever I see her I still experience the same thrill I felt when I first saw her. This image was captured just after 6AM from a vantage position in Southampton's Mayflower Park and shows Independence of the Seas approaching her berth in the Western Docks. I believe that Cunard's QE2 was in Port when she arrived.
