The Wight Link car and passenger ferry St Helen featured in this image came into service in 1983 and was deployed on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Isle of Wight) route for most of her life. She was capable of transporting 769 passengers, 142 cars and 12 lorries. In 2015 she was sold to the Italian ferry company Delcomar, was renamed Anna Mur and now provides service on the Island of Sardinia sailing between Porto Vesme and the island of Isola di San Pietro. This image of her was captured in June 2006 as she departed Portsmouth for Fishbourne.
