Torgovy Bridge.
Nearly all of the oil tankers that I have photographed when they are berthed in Southampton Water Southampton, are seen loading or unloading at the Fawley Refinery. The few exceptions to this rule are the occasional vessels that I have seen berthed at the BP Oil Terminal and Jetty (BPJ) such as the oil tanker Torgovy Bridge featured in this image. Torgovy Bridge was built in Russia in 2005, has a Gross Tonnage of 27725 Tons and is Registered in Liberia. The image was captured from the deck of the Red Funnel car and passenger ferry Red Eagle in October 2014 which was in-bound for Southampton from East Cowes Isle of Wight. According to one Internet source the name Torgovy Bridge is held by an actual bridge located on the Kryukov canal near to the Russian city of St Petersburg.
