Harbinger 4782.
I have seen and photographed the Gaff Rigged Cutter Harbinger on three occasions between 2014 and 2019, but this image is one of a small collection that I captured in May 2019. Fortunately my researches into her history proved very fruitful when I discovered that she is listed in the National Historic Ships Uk Register as entry 3534. She is recorded as having been built on the Isle of Man sometime between 1900 and 1917 as a 2 masted Lugger but converted into a Gaff Rigged Cutter at a later date in her maritime career. The image displayed was captured from the deck of the Red Funnel Ferry Red Eagle when both vessels were in Southampton Water Southampton just off the village of Hamble le Rice.
