Front Comanche.
There are many images of vessels displayed in this Web Site that I have seen and photographed only once. The 159423 Gross Ton, Crude Oil tanker Front Comanche is a case in point. This image of her was captured in the Western Mediterranean in September 2006 as she was motoring Westwards towards the Straight of Gibraltar and presumably the Atlantic Ocean beyond. She was built in Japan in 1999, was given a number of different names during her career the last recorded on the Internet being Plata Glory. One web site visited during my search about her history stated that she had been decommissioned which I read as her being scrapped. Unfortunately the site provided no information as to when this might have happened..
