HMAS Vampire.
HMAS Vampire was one of three sister ships built in Australia of all welded construction. I captured this image of her in December 2000 when she was on display at the Australian Maritime Museum. She was built between 1952 to 1959 and commissioned into the Australian Navy in June 1959. She remained in service until 1986 when she was put on permanent display at the museum.
